Announcement:Dear FriendOur information indicates a very low participation of Arab/Arabic speaking British subjects in the Local Elections 2007. The number may be less than a hand full. The only success we are aware of are as follows;
if you are able to offer more names and results of any Arab/Arabic speaker who stood in the Local Elections please let us know so we can make this information available.
Successes:Cllr. Dr Ismail Jalili - Chairman of NABA - won with a 28% majority in both the District elections (SKDC) and Stamford Town Council elections (new gain for the LibDems)
Cllr. Mrs Maureen Jalili (NABA Secretary) - retained her seats at both District (SKDC) and Town level and has become a Deputy Mayer for Stamford.
